A Special Class
The Communication and Presentation Skills class is truly a special one — from the arrangement of tables and chairs, the way groups are formed, to how students interact and freely unleash their own creativity. In this class, every student can see each other’s smiles and faces. At its center is a “stage,” and the main actors are the students themselves. In this “special” classroom, there is little distance between lecturer and student. Instead of dry theory, lessons revolve around real-life issues and situations discovered by the students themselves, drawn from their own experiences and stories.
A Transformative Class
“I have truly changed — I dare to express my thoughts and present myself in front of a crowd. I’m sure I’m not the only one; my classmates feel the same,” shared Nguyen Lan Anh (Class K61) after completing the course.
The changes are evident on the outside: a youthful, dynamic style of dress; bright, radiant faces; and confidence in communication and in presenting ideas before lecturers and peers.
Students no longer just “hear” but truly “listen” — something that once seemed simple and unimportant now feels deeply meaningful. They listen not only with their ears but also with their hearts and minds. Le Ha Phuong (Class K60) added: “I find it very interesting, the class atmosphere is always lively and enthusiastic. It makes learning exciting, and I genuinely look forward to every Communication and Presentation Skills session.”
A Successful Class
Perhaps the greatest success is overcoming oneself. With each session, students can feel their own transformation: fighting and winning over their inherent shyness, timidity, and self-doubt. They dare to take on roles such as a CEO interviewing a job applicant, an old woman selling goods on the street, or a spoiled young lady. And in a moment, they can become professional presenters, guiding the class to draw lessons on communication and behavior in both study and life.
